Family History Blog

Hey there! Today I am going to be talking about the importance of family. I love my family a lot, and am very blessed to have a close family. Yes of course we are not perfect, but at the end of the day I know I always have someone there for me. The reason I am talking about family is because we have a new project in 21 CEE where we have to study our family history. I think it is important to pass down your family history so generations after generations understand how hard their ancestors worked. Also, to share why those who have passed played such a big role in other family members'lives. I know for a fact that I will tell my kids what my family told me about our family history. I want to be remembered by my family for going D1 in football and graduating college. Now moving onto my family history, I know that my great-grandmother on my mom's side took a bus from Mexico to come here to the United States to start a new life. She worked very hard her whole life to provide for her kids and to become an American citizen. She was very proud when she became an American citizen. My grandfather from my dad's side came from Samoa to join the Marine Corps, and he was stationed at Camp Pendleton. That is how my mom and dad both ended up here. I have lived here in Oceanside my whole life.
